Cooking Classes

Our cooking class is not your usual cooking class - forget your notepad and grab an apron because you will definitely be getting your hands dirty! Nearly every guest participates in a cooking class during their stay with us and absolutely love it – let’s just say we can't even begin to estimate the number of classes we've held in our home. However, that doesn't mean we ever get bored - we love to cook. We also like to experiment with flavours and find something new to try as well as revisiting firm favourites, like making fresh pasta from scratch and the always popular Tiramisu. Our recipes are also kid friendly, and we try to find ones which are the most fun to prepare together! Most of our authentic Tuscan and Italian recipes have been passed on to us or learnt from our mother who also shared a love for cooking.

The produce we use is fresh, local and seasonal so the dishes can vary depending on whats available and what you would like to learn. We will prepare a full meal from scratch, starting in the late afternoon , allowing a full day for other activities. Our evening will wrap up at the dinner table in our home where you can enjoy what you've created with a glass of wine and bond with the group over new experiences. The ambience is always relaxed and enjoyable - people always seem to connect easily over their love of food. The classes are usually around 8 of our guests and us, so everyone gets to join in and share the experience with different people from around the world. The Italian life is closely involved with eating and creating delicious food and we would love to share this gift you won't forget!
