Wir haben die Zeit im Il Pigionale sehr genossen. Ein wunderschönes kleines authentisches Haus auf dem Dorfplatz, in das wir nach den Ausflügen zu den toskanischen Highlights immer wieder gerne zurückgekommen sind.
Die sympathische Betreuung durch Sarah und Irene tragen sehr zum besonderen Charme des Hauses bei. Sarah ist ein besonderer Schatz. Ihre Liebe zu und Achtung vor ihrer Heimat sind ansteckend. ????

We had a wonderful time in Il Pigionale! It’s got everything you will need to enjoy a restful stay. We cooked several meals there. Everything we needed was there for us! It’s a quaint, cozy villa with much history. The grape vines and grapes covering the porch were a beautiful addition to the property. We sat out on the porch in the evening and soaked it all in (with a glass of Chianti of course).

We enjoyed the charming fireplace in the kitchen too.

Irene was the best host! She visited us and gave us links on where to get groceries, where to get to very close wonderful wineries, and her advice to see Collodi was great (where Pinocchio was written). We are still reeling over this vacation.

Staying in this place was indeed a unique and great experience. We had a great time. The house was nicely equipped with everything we needed. We also had nice support in terms of the housekeeping and getting to know Tuscany. In particular, Irene was helpful, when we planned our travels. She never left us with unanswered questions. This is the place one wants to visit again. It has to be expressed, that before we started our journey, we already received all the necessary and useful information, that made our arrival easy and our stay very pleasant.

Cute little apartment ingeniously furnished. The beds are comfortable, there are basic cooking supplies, it's very quiet. The little square is a real postcard, the village is very well located for exploring Tuscany. Irene and Sara are very kind and helpful and provide very complete information to make the most of our stay. I hope I can come back to discover more !

Spectacular apartment in a real Tuscan hamlet. There is everything you need for your relaxation. It is truly magical to drink a glass of wine on the balcony facing the square in the land of wine.

Lovely village, excellent host thank you so much, Irene!! We (two couples) stayed here during our visit (son's wedding), in Italy. Everything was very clean, quiet and charming. We loved the experience, incredibly charming village and small surrounding towns. Would definitely stay here again, when in Italy! Beth and Keith, Larry and Kathy USA

Irene was a terrific host! From intoducing us to Pergine Valdarno, arranging a dinner at a local winery to hosting a birthday dinner celebration -complete with a private cook and sommelier - the experience was truly enjoyable.

The apartment was wonderfully appointed to make one feel at home. Everything worked well, with no problems. Host was very responsive to questions and never far away from responding to questions. I would highly recommend this place.

Pergine Valdarno was a charming place to decompress after the hubub of Florence. It's a small town set in the midst of a beautiful region of charming hilltop towns, miles of vineyards and orchards, and friendly people. il Pigionale is comfortable with all the modern conveniences and Irene was welcoming and incredibly helpful. If you like to cook, you'll appreciate the extra amenities -- like good kitchen knives, grater, scissors, etc. Irene is a professional concierge who knows everyone and everything and was very responsive to our questions and requests. We spent a week there in September and the climate was perfect. Highly recommend this charming apartment.

Wir waren im Juni 2022 zu zweit für zwei Wochen in Il Pigionale in Pergine Valdarno. Es war eine wunderbare erholsame Zeit. Das Haus ist sehr schön eingerichtet, die Küche top ausgestattet mit allem was man braucht (wir lieben Kochen) und die Betten sind prima. Pergine Valdarno haben wir schnell lieben gelernt. Hier ist es nicht sehr touristisch und wer nicht nur Land, sondern auch Leute und italienisches Leben kennenlernen will, ist hier genau richtig. Zwei tolle Cafe/Bar, ein Gemüselädchen und ein sehr gutes Restaurant sind fußläufig erreichbar. Mit unseren E-Bikes haben wir große Touren durch die Weinberge gemacht. Siena, Arezzo, Florenz und viele andere wunderbare Örtchen sind aufgrund der zentralen Lage sehr gut zu erreichen. Unsere liebe Vermieterin Irene war immer erreichbar und hat uns mit wunderbaren Tipps versorgt. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Location suggestiva in un contesto fuori dal tempo. Piccolo borgo in cima a una collina circondata da boschi di querce, meravigliose camminate nella natura incontaminata. Casa curata e con tutti i confort, vicinato cordiale . Ovviamente non è un luogo per chi cerca vida loca, questo è un luogo a mia personale esperienza per chi vuole onorare il tempo, il silenzio, la natura, la buona vita. Ottima la pizza del ristorante vicino. Host meravigliosi. Unica pecca, i cacciatori di cinghiali. COnsigliato, e spero di ritonarci.

Spędziliśmy piękny czas w Toskanii, będziemy długo wspominać. Dziękuję właścicielce naszej "miejscówki", Irene Gren, za otoczenie nas opieką i wszystkie przydatne informacje. Bardzo nam było dobrze w Pergine Valdarno, cudownej kamiennej wiosce z uroczymi, życzliwymi mieszkańcami. Mile wspominamy wszystkie kolacje w La Cantine, pyszną kawę i wino wypite w miejscowych barach i kafejkach ( a były aż trzy ????), a przede wszystkim nasz uroczy "gołębnik", czyli dom Il Pigionale z tarasem ocienionym winoroślą, wychodzącym na główny placyk miejscowości. Niepowtarzalny klimat spokoju i beztroski, a wokół wzgórza i oliwne gaje. Świetne miejsce do zwiedzania okolic, wyposażone we wszystko co zapewnia komfortowy pobyt. Polecam wszystkim.

We spent 7 amazing nights at Il Pigionale. The apartment was lovely and right in the centre of the village. Irene was very helpful and made us feel at home, showing us around the village and where to shop and dine. Also her suggestions for day trips helped us explore the area. We would definitely recommend o return again.

Irene was amazing to deal with! Such a friendly face upon arrival in Tuscany. If you want a "genuine" Tuscan experience, this is definitely the place for you. Very well set up accomodations with all the comforts of home and more. The locals were very friendly and welcoming. If you stay here, shop here as everything is fresh and delicious. Try the restaurant!! You will know which one when you see it!! I cant say enough about what an amazing place this was to stay. There was even a local wine and food festival in the square right outside our door, which of course we took in! Stay here!!!! Only complaint I have is that I ran out of time here!!!

Une excellente surprise à notre arrivée, tant au niveau du charme de village, que du confort du logement. Irene est une hôte extrêmement attentionnée et à l'écoute. Elle est de très bons conseils pour découvrir la Toscane et le Chianti.

Geweldig verblijf gehad in vriendelijk Toscaans bergdorpje. Leuke locatie aan een pleintje in een klein Toscaans bergdorpje. Genoten van het opgaan in het dorpsleven: ochtendloopje langs bakker/groenteboer, supermarktje en lokale bar voor de cappuccino. Warm welkom door zeer vriendelijke gastvrouw die tegen over het pleintje woont en elke dag even kort langskwam om te vragen of alles nog naar wens was (goede tips gekregen voor de omgeving). Prima sanitair (leuke kleine doucheruimte in kelder), compleet keukentje, goede bedden en alles is schoon. (3 volwassenen en 2 kinderen) was de woonkamer wat aan de krappe kant. Maar in Italië ben je bij goed weer natuurlijk gewoon buiten... er is een heerlijk bankje naast de voordeur op balkon met middag/avondzon uitkijkend over het pleintje.
