Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno meraviglioso a Villa Marina. La struttura è splendida, curata in ogni dettaglio e dotata di tutti i comfort necessari per vivere giornate di totale relax. La posizione è ideale e permette di godere a pieno della bellezza del paesaggio circostante.

Un ringraziamento speciale a Sara per la sua disponibilità, gentilezza e professionalità: ci ha accolti con calore e ci ha fatto sentire subito a casa.

Consigliamo vivamente questa esperienza e speriamo di poter tornare presto!

We had a fantastic 2 weeks at Villa Marina and would return in a heartbeat! It's in a tranquil spot, but not far ( about 6km) from shops. The villa itself is very well- maintained and beautifully furnished. Special touches like fresh coffee, quality olive oil and locally produced toiletries all make you feel at home. What sets this beautiful villa apart though is the service! Irene and Sara are always on hand to provide advice and tips about where to visit and eat.
Irene gave us a tip about aperitivo in a local village. Honestly, it was such a highlight of our stay and we enjoyed being a " local" with no tourists in sight ( apart from us!). She also recommended a restaurant in Siena , where we had the best pasta I'd ever tasted!
If you get chance, hire the private chef ( with her lovely Dad) to cook you a meal. It was such a treat and we're still talking about it now.
As for the villa, it is spotlessly clean and huge. The air con works a treat. The pool area is beautiful and the sunbeds are very comfortable.
If you're considering hiring this Tuscan gem, just do it! You won't be disappointed.

Enjoyed our time at this secluded gem. It was quiet and cozy. The villa was clean, spacious and had everything we needed.
Enjoyed Sara and Irina. They arranged dinners and roadtrips for us. They know Tuscany and were very helpful.

We had a great time and the property was overall very well maintained and cared for.
It was a great place to explore Florence and Chianti areas. the info they provided was very helpful. There were only a few small things I would improve and they are minor. Overall it is very well cared for and the tram of caretakers are very helpful and accessible.

The manager of this property, Irene, and her support staff, were wonderful. The villa is perfect for a family or several couples. Irene dropped by several times to ensure all was well. When we had a minor malfunction she made sure it was quickly corrected. The outdoor dining area is shaded and perfect for meals. The villa is in a quiet area, but is located so that trips to Florence, Siena, etc. are within reasonable traveling time. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the villa and the hospitality. Highly recommended.

While looking for a villa in Tuscany to begin a family vacation, my husband and sister, independently of each other, discovered Villa Marina and thought it would be the perfect spot to begin the first leg of our Italian vacation.

Our host, Irene Gren, from the get-go, was so helpful and kind in answering our many questions. Not being all that familiar with the region, her recommendations were so useful. Irene is very easy to communicate with and extremely efficient! We came away realizing that you always want to follow your host's recommendations!

The villa is located about 2 1/2 hours from Rome. While it is a little removed from some of the better- known destinations, such as Sienna or San Gimignano, we discovered many charming villages and wineries, off the beaten track, that we might not otherwise have found.

The villa itself had an old-world charm, with plenty of space for our large group of seven. The bedrooms and baths were spacious and comfortable. The outdoor space was especially appealing. We spent plenty of time by the pool, the covered seating area and the loggia.

Irene arranged two dinners at home, cooked by local chefs. Both dinners were wonderful - absolutely delicious, expertly prepared, and authentically Tuscan!

All in all, our group would highly recommend Villa Marina! Thank you, Irene, for an amazing start to our Italy vacation!!

We stayed at Villa Marina for two weeks as a group of seven women on a girls trip! The property is absolutely beautiful and very spacious, but the experience offered by Irene and Eduardo was incredible! We saw a Tuscany we could not possibly have found on our own. We loved every minute we were there and hated to leave!

We enjoyed an amazing week with friends in the Tuscan hills at the beautiful Villa Marina. It's a perfect base camp to enjoy the many small towns and wineries in the area. Drive yourself or have the owners provide a tour of wineries and local sites that you might not find on your own. Then return to the Villa in the evening to relax at the pool with a bottle of wine (or two or more.....!) that you purchased on your outing. Be sure to take an on-site cooking class and enjoy the traditional Tuscan dinner you have created with owners Eduardo and Irene. Jeannette & Stuart (Canada)

A true sample of excellent hospitality!
We are a family of 6 who traveled to Tuscany for a holiday vacation. We stayed at Villa Marina for a week. We had a wonderful stay. The rooms and beds are all very comfortable, lots of space, very clean and tidy, the kitchen is super equipped you find anything you need to make yourself a meal. We loved every little thing in this place. 2 of the family is a couple who stayed in the little house beside the Villa, they loved it. a very romantic place to stay. Also, we in the family we have an elderly woman who had no problem at the stay, she slept in the 1st-floor bedroom and enjoyed it. we must say a huge THANK YOU to the hosts Irene & Edoardo who was very nice, friendly, kind and lovely. Edoardo works as a Chef, so on our holiday night, He&his girlfriend and Irene cooked an amazing dinner for us who was way beyond our expectations. The whole meal was super delicious.
Irene also helped us to book a few local restaurants who were very good and not touristy which we loved.

We highly recommend you stay at Villa Marina and have a chat with both Eduardo an Irene. We promise you won't regret it.

Wow! Irene and Edoardo are amazing hosts! From the moment we checked in, to the moment we left, they treated us with the best service. They shared and showed us their local treasures, thought us to make nice Italian food, helped out with practical things and were genuine polite and kind! Irene tipped us about the best gelateria, giving us the pleasure of enjoying the best ice creams ever! Edoardo spent the day with us, taking us to Siena and a couple of vineyards, an amazing day with great food and wine, in places we never would’ve found ourselves. The house was nicely refurbished to a high standard, it’s spacious and kept nice and cool during the Tuscany heat we experienced. The movie theatre at the loft was such an amazing room, we enjoyed several movie nights there, the kids loved it! The garden was huge, with several seating areas, and the pool..WOW! We had a hard time getting the kids to eat as they were so eager to go swimming and spent numerous of hours in the water! The location of the house is private, we never saw any other neighbors other than an occasional cat or dog passing by.. Edoardo lives just next door, and was never far away if ever we need anything! This was a super holiday house to go with kids!

Selecting this property for your Tuscany stay will be the best best decision you can make for your Italy vacation. I had the pleasure of staying at Villa Marina for 5 days with a group of 7 adults and my 11 year month old daughter. We were admittedly unorganized in our planning. Other than selecting our accommodation we hadn’t really thought through our stay. Irene was highly responsive leading up to arrival and insisted that she could assist with our transportation as we opted not to hire a car. This was a tremendous help. Her brother Edoardo greeted us punctually at the local train station and from there hardly left our side. He assisted with groceries and even planned several day trips during or stay that were unforgettable. Although last minute in some of our planning, Irene and Eduardo were patient, kind, considerate and helpful in every interaction. And what to say about this property? I’m not exaggerating when I say that the property was better than displayed in the pictures. Turns out there was an entire private cottage, in addition to the home, that was available for our use. The home is newly renovated and finds the perfect combination with of rustic with a modern touch. It is clear that so much work, love and effort has gone into creating this home into a welcoming space for travelers. Combined with the top notch hospitality, you cannot ask for more. We left our stay feeling like we had made two new friends. We truly will never forget this experience. Eduardo and Irene we truly thank you.
