Il soggiorno è stato davvero un piacere, casa calda ed accogliente, unico neo: la mancanza del bidet, ma per il resto è dotata di tutti i comfort possibili. Nonostante sia una struttura molto antica, Irene con il suo restyling l'ha rinnovata ma preservandone la memoria storica. È situata in un paesino stupendo ed estremamente tranquillo. Sara poi è di una squisitezza e di una competenza unica, ci ha mostrato casa e ci ha suggerito come muoverci, dove mangiare, dove fare acquisti, davvero grande professionalità.

What a brilliant stay! This was our fifth visit to lovely Pergine and our third visit to Casa Di Vignolo, and every time was amazing. We always stay in one of Irene's properties in the town - we've also stayed in Il Pigionale which is also excellent. The location is perfect, being set in the centre of a classic Tuscan village within close proximity to other beautiful towns in the region. The accommodation has all the facilities you need for a few days through to a few months. It’s also big enough for six adults to stay comfortably. Irene and her team at I Am Tuscany are friendly and always make us feel welcome. We thoroughly recommend staying here!

A very cozy and comfortable house with good amenities, situated on a square in an Italian village. It was wonderful to experience this. There are plenty of fun activities in the area, from nature to city sightseeing. Irene and Sara gave us a warm welcome and were ready with lots of tips on things to do, including where to shop, have coffee and eat.

What a lovely house with spacious airconditioned bedrooms. The house is very well equipped and authentic all over. Beautiful located and renovated with lots of love.
The bathroom & kitchen are furnished with local products like pommegranate shampoo& olive oil.
During our stay, we had the pleasure to see a local youth event, a movie on the village square and the Friday "market". The coffee in the "non solo caffe" every morning made our day: Between the locals enjoying good cappuccino &brioche and panini's salami freshly made by the kind owner of the coffeeshop.
If you are interested in the local gossip, you only have to sit on your own terrace and wait till the square benches fill with the nonne& nonni after dinner.
A good dinner at the restaurant with Tuscan dishes & pizza is also within a 5 minute walk and the sunset view from the terrace is breathtaking.

Fantastic stay at Casa di Vignolo. We had spent time in Tuscany before but staying in Florence. From now on, Pergine Valdardo and the accommodations managed by Irene are our only pick. Proper Tuscan hilltop village feel, friendly locals, close enough to major Tuscan sites, but far enough that you enjoy countryside living. The house itself is a history marvel. 11th century old with absolutely everything one might need while on the road. We visit AirBnb / Apartment places frequently, and there is always a few things you wish were available. Not here. A super comfortable, relaxing and charming stay. On top of all of this, Irene and Sara were fantastic hosts. Communication was easy (they speak Italian, English and French) and always timely, and they provided recommendations on what to do in the surroundings, but also tips on how to visit Italian highlights outside of the local vicinity.
Thank you again for the fabulous experience, we will be back !

Deliziosa casa al centro di un caratteristico borgo antico. Molto ben attrezzata, pulitissima. Personale cordiale e disponibile. Un oasi di pace....assolutamente da provare per un we in Toscana alla scoperta di Arezzo e/o Siena nelle vicinanze (circa 20/30Km)

Casa di Vignolo!
What a nice, warm and comforting place in center of the perfect Tuscany village, Pergine Valderno. An ideal place to share the tuscan life with locals, taking eather morning coffee or aperitive at the bar, walking around and discovering, or as a strategic emplacement to visit all Toscane as to offer, from Arrezo to Montepulciano, Sienne ….
The house is a piece of history with all the comfort you’re looking while travelling….. huge rooms with very confortable bed, modern équipement in the kitchen and functionnal bathroom, and a cute balcony to relax while the locals gently make you feel welcome.
And « the cherry on the sunday », a Tuscan Treasure, Irene, and assistant Sara always pro active to answer any questions, see to your need or to give the best reference to visit Toscana . A highlits in our 25 days trip to Italy !
We recommand this place or anywhere else form I am Tuscany without any réservations.

This was my third time staying at Casa Di Vignolo (2003, 2016, and Fall 2024), and I continue to love this apartment and Pergine Valdarno as my dream get-away destination. The apartment is comfortable, charming, and very well stocked - we had everything we needed to cook great meals here. The village is lovely: quiet, historic, un-touristy, picturesque, and perfectly situated for scenic day trips. Irene and Sara were fantastic; they are both informative, responsive, and absolutely delightful. Someday I may return to the area and stay in one of the other IamTuscany properties, but then again, I may just keep coming back here because I love it so much :)

Absolutely loved this property! Beautiful, quiet setting, and the house itself was so authentic and very well equipped! There was an issue in the laundry room, which created a damp musty smell for most of our stay, but that’s the only thing that was negative. The entire stay was very positive !!

Absolutely fantastic and amazing place to stay for a while. Location is the best, very close to restaurant, the cakery and small shop. you can feel slow Tuscanian life. it seems to be safety in the same time. and people are very kind and smile :) The apartment is arranged in unique medieval-contemporary style and it is suprisingly big :) Recommend!

Once again, a thoroughly enjoyable stay with Irene and I Am Tuscany. For anyone wanting a real Tuscan experience with a beautiful house in a hilltop Tuscan village, who wants to meet and engage with locals in the shops or in the bars, this is the place. Whether it’s a morning coffee, an aperitif or an after dinner drink after eating in the restaurant or the local bistro, just chill and go with the flow! You won’t regret it.

Excellent accommodation! The apartment has all you need and beyond to have a perfect stay! The apartment is really a gem a mediaeval house that has been modernised keeping the original features and flair intact! Irene has everything under control and the welcome is superb! This is the second time we have been this year and we will return!

We stayed at the lovely Casa di Vignolo for a week and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The unit was in a quiet neighborhood in a quiet village with the friendliest people. A great location for many side trips but also such a lovely place to relax and unwind. Can’t wait for our next trip!

Beautiful accomodation in old village. Friendly staff: Irene and assitents were very helpful and responsive!
The accomodation is in a centuries old building with many original elements, but also with all the things that you would expect in a modern facility. I was convenient to have three bedrooms, two of them (on the top floor) have airconditioning as well. The nearby (2 minute walk) restaurant 'Le Cantine' is very good and recommendable. We very much enjoyed our stay here!

In a world where human interaction is frowned upon in favor of an online click with instant delivery and instant gratification I cannot tell you how good it was to spend time with Irene Gren of “I am Tuscany” who puts a premium on the people of her region, the towns and villages. In her company, myself and my wife met so many wonderful people who were so pleased to give us an insight into their life and the way they live it and why they live it the way they do and in fact have done so for many generations.
We explored vineyards where the owner showed us around their vines and their fields and cellars and spoke about their wine with an honesty, passion and huge pride. Restaurants provided local dishes that were made with produce from within walking distance and we were made welcome in bars and shops that without “I am Tuscany” we never would have found. Itineraries were drawn up for us based on what we were looking for and we drove around the region visiting beautiful little villages and towns and everywhere we went we were greeted by “Buongiorno”.
Irene made sure we had time in the three jewels in the Crown namely Florence, Arezzo and Siena and the escorts she arranged to take us around were very knowledgeable and patient.
But there was still time to relax and you can relax spend time either around the pool or sitting in the piazza sipping a glass of Chianti or a Spritz and waving at passersby.
“I am Tuscany” is not just about a pool and a villa, it’s about people. It’s about helping you feel you have been a part of Tuscany and frankly only a Tuscan can do that, and myself and my wife will be back for more.

Superb atmosphere in the village. Irene is the best guide you can find, she helps with everything when you want, if you want. Very good matrasses and a well equipped kitchen.

Really nice and comfortable house. Very good equipped kitchen and everything was arranged for ( washing powder, toilet paper, ...). Irene is the perfect host, she is always available to answer every question and she can arrange very nice visits.

Casa Di Vignolo is not only a really lovely place but also the the best equipped holiday home I have ever been to. It is right in the center of an old little village with a few small shops where you get everything you need right around the corner.
Irene is a perfect host. You really feel like a guest (not just like a customer). You should definitely go on a wine tasting with her.
I would give it 6 stars if I could :-)

The property and small village are atop a hill with fantastic views of the surrounding valley, vineyards and olive trees. Our beautiful house was well equipped and fitted out whilst retaining its medieval heritage - it is genuinely a piece of history! Stunning!

All mod cons available, and we all loved the open fireplace.

Irene and Eduardo are fantastic hosts, and went out of their way to be helpful and supportive.

Everyone must do the cooking lesson! A lovely evening.

Great place to stay and would recommend it to everyone - young, older, family etc.

We have just returned from the perfect getaway in the pretty village of Pergine Valdarno from where there are far reaching views towards the magnificent Chianti and Pratomagno mountains. A most tranquil spot!
We were so very well looked after by the very charming owner, Irene, who saw to our every need and nothing was too much trouble for her. We were honoured and delighted that she was very happy to spend time with us, introducing us to this wonderful part of Tuscany and her childhood ''back garden''.

The apartment is beautifully furnished and most spacious. The garden is delightful with plenty of space for al fresco dining and relaxing with the added bonus of a pool.
The villagers are very friendly and welcoming and there are local shops which catered for everything we needed plus an excellent restaurant, Le Cantine.
We would highly recommend this delightful apartment and guarantee that you will not be disappointed.
