My passion for hospitality is much more than a job and translates into an invitation to travel more consciously and to seek the beauty of a place more deeply. A way to travel slower, more attentive but above all closer to local and territorial culture and traditions, for an extraordinary experience just for its naturalness and spontaneity.
Valdarno, like many other local realities in Tuscany and Italy, has a lot to offer in terms of landscape beauty and local products, but our invitation is not limited to show them to you, or taste them, ours is an invitation to discover them with us, with local people, through our tales, our stories, our simple everyday life in a context of relationship, participation, listening and reciprocity.
We want to take you by the hand and guide you in the simplicity of Tuscan living in our homeland, in our territory - hence "I am Tuscany". It's about making an experience that after years will still bring up a smile and make your heart beat as if you were still here with us!

Since one year I met Francesca, a sommelier and natural guide, we merged onto the same path with great feedbacks so far. Our secret ingredients? Caprediem: A local excellency and inspiration for future generations
We love our area, Valdarno also because we know how rich it is. Rich of beautiful and unique places, rich of typical products from Tuscany but like every place is rich of people and families that are born here and are part of the "network" of small producers of this land. Today we'd like to tell you the story of Chiara and Niccolò, from the farm Caprediem.
If you stay with us, this is what we'd like you to see and experience during our visit: excellency of local products made by people who work hard in respect of nature, healthy products and an healthy life style of animals and, consequently, of people. When we talk about food it is really fundamental to be aware of what we eat and awareness passes through direct knowledge of who produces our food. Food tastes much better when you know who produces it.
How much do we know about the food we buy? Where do the raw materials come from, what does the farmer or shepherd look like, are natural values and animal welfare respected? We want to be part of this, sustainability and local economy is our new way to do tourism- Are you with us?

Their goat cheeses, after the rest period of the goats, there you can find again at the market.

A growing (young) community born to preserve the mountains communities and productions
A dinner of chestnuts: the fruits of the Pratomagno, Viviano's recipes, his stories:
"Sàgona is here, Sàgona is a place. You can stop to eat, to drink, to watch, to talk, to hang out, to get to know each other."
Osteria di Sàgona is one of our favourite places. If you happen to be with us in one of our homes, this place could be part of your local experience with us! Good food and wine are the quintessence of Tuscany, so come onto a food and wine tour with us and you will discover Osteria di Sàgona in person. This place has a real call for sustainability and support of the local products, and so we do!
A magical place at the feet of the mountain of Pratomagno, few kms from Loro Ciuffenna in Valdarno. The farm produces wine and olive oil, but it also has a garden and "neighbors" that provide the best quality products, km 0!
Lunch, dinners won't be a need anymore, they will become a deep experience and connection to this mountain of Pratomagno.
Sàgona often welcomes "friends and neighbors" for a social meeting with people, food and good wine: last February 21st we have attended a dinner and the guest was Viviano, we'd like you to meet him and his story.
